Mercedes star Lewis Hamilton insists he will have no chance of winning the Hungarian Grand Prix, unless Ferrari have mechanical issues.
The Brit had been hoping to pile the pressure on Sebastian Vettel this weekend, just a week after winning his home grand prix at Silverstone.
However, he struggled on Saturday as his German rival stormed to the front of the grid and he just pipped Scuderia team-mate Kimi Raikkonen into first.
Valtteri Bottas and Hamilton then finished third and fourth respectively and they finished just ahead of Red Bull duo Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo.
Despite being just three places behind Vettel, Hamilton is not expecting to challenge this weekend.
He told Sky Sports F1: "I think it's going to be an easy breeze for them. Getting past the Ferrari's will be almost impossible unless they have problems."
