For Jim Parson, the production of the 'Big Bang Theory' spin-off was "very moving".
The actor, who plays in the popular physics series Sheldon Cooper, is the lead producer and narrator of the offshoot 'Young Sheldon'. He admits that producing the previous episodes about his character was an emotional experience for him. On the 'TCA Summer Press Tour' Jim, who was speechless, said: "During the ten years we worked on the 'Big' show, I never felt like we had ... I can don't say it! "
The producer Chuck Lorre, who created 'The Big Bang Theory' together with Bill Prady, is clearly enthusiastic about the concept. "It felt like it was the best idea in the world," said Lorre. Sheldon's story has already been told in part in 'The Big Bang Theory', including about his father's death. The spin-off should show how "people change, grow up and change over the years". The producer said about the story: "The consequences can extend over several months. We have a lot of freedom with the background story." According to the producer, there will be "a lot more of the man discussed in 'Big Bang' over the past few years."
Jim also revealed that he really enjoyed working with young actor Iain Amitage. "I was able to interact a lot with Iain and discuss things that are special for the character," the star told Entertainment Online.
