Protecting the oceans: this is the mission launched by the Lush cosmetics brand. The goal? Raise public awareness of the impact of plastics in the oceans, a real danger to marine biodiversity.
An awareness campaign and a new shop
By offering its customers products without packaging, Lush wants to involve them directly in how to approach this global phenomenon as consumers. For the occasion, the brand has thus inaugurated on June 1 in Milan, his "Naked" shop. In this space, where we find only products without packaging, it organizes events, workshops and film screenings. An original way to exchange and raise public awareness of a world without plastic. For the same purpose, Lush launched the "Jelly Bomb Turtle" , a new bath bomb with natural ingredients . His particuliarity ? Once thrown into the water, softening agar-agar leaves emerge on the surface to symbolize the plastic threat to sea turtles.
