Mel B has reportedly been accused of intimidating a witness who was due to testify against her in court.
The 42-year-odl singer is currently embroiled in a bitter divorce battle with her estranged husband Stephen Belafonte, after it was claimed he had been physically abusive to her during their 10-year marriage and enjoyed an affair with their nanny Lorraine Giles.
And it has since been reported on TMZ that rapper Siya filed a police report against the Spice Girls band member on Monday (11.09.17) in which she claimed Mel had allegedly sent her threatening text messages and warned her not to speak out against her in court or to have any involvement in the legal case.
A source has claimed the 'Sisterhood of Hip Hop' actress showed police officers the messages she has received from the 'Wannabe' hitmaker, which has led law enforcements to open a felony investigation into Mel.
It is believed the 30-year-old singer - whose full name is Michele Sherman - was due to contradict the allegations that the 42-year-old producer had ever been violent towards his wife, with who he has six-year-old daughter Madison.
And it has also been reported that Siya was also due to open up about the recent claims that Mel suffers from alcohol and drug abuse, and that the 'America's Got Talent' judge was the one who supposedly initiated the sex sessions between her, Stephen and Lorraine.
Mel has since requested for the court documents to remain private to prevent her other children - Phoenix, 18, Angel, 10, - from being upset, but she hopes the outcome of the ongoing case will "show the truth" behind her relationship with Stephen, although Stephen wants the documents to remain public.
Speaking previously, Mel said: "I have remained silent these past six months for the sake of my children. I refuse to be a victim any longer and trust the legal process to show the truth."
