Mel B and Stephen Belafonte's trial will be open to the public.
The judge in charge apparently refused the singer's request not to make the couple's trial public. At least that's what the American gossip site 'TMZ' claims, citing official court documents. Mel had justified her request because Stephen apparently intended to use the couple's explicit sex tapes as evidence. However, the judge insisted that "slippery details" such as sex tapes are not sufficient to make the process private. However, the chairman agreed to deal with anything related to the couple's children without public participation.
It was recently announced that the police are apparently also investigating Mel himself. The 42-year-old is said to have intimidated a witness who should testify against her in court. 'TMZ' reported that rapper Siya accused the ex-girl group singer of sending her drone messages on her cell phone, which should prevent her from testifying in court or getting involved in the case in any way. This has now led to the officials investigating Mel B for a "serious crime".
