The concept

In partnership with the French Red Cross , young people aged 16 to 26 will be able to participate in an innovative project which has since 2005 proved its worth in the United States and in England. 4 hours of volunteering for a concert place , is not it a tempting proposition to motivate your children?

Multiple works

The volunteer work will be multiple: the children will have to carry out works of all types gardening, painting or interior decor , ... to beautify the environment of people in difficulty in places closest to their neighborhood (centers d ' reception for homeless people, homes for young people, ...). There will be something for everyone. A total of 50 OrangeRockcorps volunteer projects will be launched this summer and 5,000 volunteers will be expected to contribute 20,000 volunteer hours to the profits of the partner associations ! And the motivations of the young people are not only a matter of the concert to be won; it is above all "to be able to do something good without having to give money that one does not have," confides to us Laeticia, a volunteer who had not yet had the opportunity to taste volunteering. The aim of the process is of course not to feel the notion of work but to have a good time and to share an unforgettable experience with people from all walks of life or with relatives. The whole in music, which, according to the saying, softens morals.

Engaged artists

Last part of the project: the concert of 2 October at the Zénith in Paris. Firstly, no non-volunteer will be able to attend because it is the result of a personal work. Many artists are expected, including four headliners with various influences: French rapper Sefyu who participated in the launch day of the OrangeRockCorps program on July 21 and who is one of the sponsors of the operation. He spent a whole afternoon in joy and good humor, and he got on very well with the young people who were delighted to see an artist whom they admired to be involved in the project . Indeed, for this former social animator, "breaking the image between the artist and the common man of mortals is essential". DJ David Guetta will also be in attendance, accompanied by an uncontested figure of the American rap / hip hop, Busta Rhymes, who participated in the first launch of the program in the United States and who collaborated with among others Lenny Kravitz, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, ...

An operation throughout France

This is the first year test in France, so do not miss such an initiative! 4 other sessions will be held throughout France: in Lyon, Marseille, Lille and Nantes. All you have to do is register on the site: www.orangerockcorps.fr so that the movement does not weaken!
