Colin Montgomerie has won the Japanese Airlines Championship to claim his fifth Champions Tour title.
The Scot finished on 14-under-par after carding a five-under-par final round at Narita-shi, in the first ever PGA Champions Tour tournament to be held in Japan.
It is the first time the 54-year-old has won a Champions Tour event since the Pacific Links a year ago.
Montgomerie finished one stroke ahead of American challenger Billy Mayfair and two ahead of Scott McCarron after sinking a two-putt from 50ft away on the par-four 18th hole.
Mayfair had to settle for second in the end despite recording the best round of the day with a six-under par 66, after missing a birdie putt on the final hole which would have resulted in a playoff.
Montgomerie was in great form and made great strides towards victory with 60 foot putt at the 12th where he gained three successive birdies.
Glen Day finished fourth at 12 under, while Kevin Sutherland and Jesper Parnevik tied for fifth at 11 under.
