It’s been known for some time now that Jon Bernthal’s version of The Punisher was the live adaptation of the Marvel character that resonated with the most people upon its debut in Daredevil season 2, and that he would be getting his own solo series on Netflix following his popularity. Now though, an official first teaser for the show has been unveiled, which you can check out below:

Though we don’t yet have a premiere date for The Punisher, we’re expecting the show to debut at some point before the end of this year, with November in everybody’s sights.

Having taken revenge on those who were responsible for the deaths of his wife and children, Frank Castle aka The Punisher has uncovered a conspiracy running deeper than New York’s underworld.

Working his way to the truth of injustices that affect more than just his family, this anti-hero will still be acting on impulses rather than considering the law, but we imagine he’s going to be just as likeable as the other vigilantes running riot throughout NYC’s streets.

We’ll bring you more news on The Punisher as and when we get it.
