Product of worship: Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream

Inspired by La Crème Céleste and used by the grandmother of Elisabeth Sigmund, cosmetologist and co-founder of Dr. Hauschka, she is celebrating 50 years this year. We tell you everything about this cult product of the brand.

Prepared by a pharmacist in Austria, it contained olive oil, beeswax, rose essential oil and rose water.

Elisabeth Sigmund carefully preserved the formula entrusted by her grandmother and improved her by adding St. John's wort oil and marshmallow root juice squeezed by him.

Today, the recipe has been enriched with extracts of rose petal and rose hip berry, butter and avocado oil.

Handcrafted

Between thirty and thirty five Damascus roses are needed to get a tube of 30 ml of Day Cream to the Rose. All the transformation is done by hand. The product is manufactured in Germany, near Stuttgart.

An eco-friendly packaging

The tube is made of aluminum, a recyclable material that keeps the formula away from light.

A worldwide success
