QPR could hand a debut to new signing Alex Baptiste when they host Northampton in their Carabao Cup first-round match on Tuesday night.
The 31-year-old defender signed a two-year contract with the R's on Monday having previously played for Middlesbrough.
Baptiste goes straight into Ian Holloway's squad for the meeting with the Cobblers, although Grant Hall (tendonitis) and Jordan Cousins (thigh) remain absent.
Holloway is likely to shuffle his pack with the likes of Darnell Furlong, Idrissa Sylla and Ariel Borysiuk pushing for starts.
Northampton are still without a number of players for the trip to Loftus Road.
Defender Brendan Moloney (hamstring) and midfielders John-Joe O'Toole (groin) and Shaun McWilliams (ankle) missed the season-opening loss at Shrewsbury and are not yet ready to feature.
Midfielder Sam Foley and forward Sam Hoskins also remain on the sidelines with long-term knee injuries.
Manager Justin Edinburgh is planning to make some changes to the side beaten at the weekend to freshen up his side.
