Red Bull appear confident of winning the Singapore Grand Prix despite Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel claiming pole position.

Vettel will start from the front of the grid on Sunday and has Red Bull's Max Verstappen alongside him while Daniel Ricciardo qualified third ahead of Kimi Raikkonen.

Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas occupy the third row, with Nico Hulkenberg, Fernando Alonso, Stoffel Vandoorne and Carlos Sainz making up the top 10.

The Red Bull duo have looked fastest ever since they began practice on the Marina Bay circuit and team principal Christian Horner is upbeat about his team's chances this weekend.

"We were quickest in every session apart from the one that counts," he said. "But races aren't won on Saturdays."

Ricciardo echoed his boss's thoughts and has his eyes firmly on the prize.

"I'm a little envious today but I'm confident we'll get a victory tomorrow," said the Australian. "Seb turned it on in qualifying but we'll get them on race pace."
