Red Bull driver Max Verstappen believes the team may have missed out on their final chance of another race win this year in Singapore.

Verstappen crashed out at the first corner in Singapore and team-mate Daniel Ricciardo had issues with a gearbox problem.

Ricciardo has claimed Red Bull's only win so far this season, in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, and Verstappen feels they will struggle to claim another victory in the remaining races.

"Not as strong as at this track [Singapore]," said Verstappen when asked about the teams chances at the six remaining races, as reported by Read Motorsport.

He added: "This was of course our best chance to get a good result – and that didn’t happen.

"But the whole year things haven’t gone my way. So maybe it needs to happen a couple of more times and then maybe you have a couple of years where everything goes really well for you."
