Gourmand and generous. Biscuit maker Delacre sells iconic boxes customized by a fashionable personality. In 2017, Sarah Lavoine lent herself to the game.
Delacre X Sarah Lavoine
For the 4th consecutive year, the Delacre biscuit manufacturer reaffirms its commitment to the association All school. After Chantal Thomass, Christian Lacroix and Serge Bensimon, who signed the 2016 limited edition , it was Sarah Lavoine who accepted to play the game and graciously deliver her reinterpretation of the iconic Delacre boxes. The recognized interior designer and decorator affixes her paw: graphic, colorful, inspired by Cambodian artisan weaving, and resolutely design her motifs adorn the boxes in 400g format (sold € 6.95) and 1kg (€ 11.95). At the end of the operation (which ends in January 2018), the Belgian biscuit maker will donate € 100,000 to the association to promote the education of young girls in Cambodia .
School for all: the fight of Tina Kieffer
It is during a particularly shocking trip to Cambodia that everything starts. The precariousness of children deprived of schooling moves journalist Tina Kieffer , and she decides to create the association "Tous à l'école" in 2006 . From the beginning, the association helps 92 young Cambodian girls who are attending a pilot school, Happy Chandara. Ten years later, there are 1,200 students to take the courses offered through the association ... And to fill the demand, the pilot school has grown, now hosting a primary school, a college, a high school, gymnasium, vocational training center, boarding school, health center and family planning. 2017 also marks 10 years of schooling that ends for the first beneficiaries of the program set up by the association. The time to graduate ... and to take the path of higher education or first job.
