A balanced diet of saturated fats
Healthy eating is not just about steamed fruits and vegetables, far from it. It is important to bring to your body the variety and the right balance. A diet should consist of 10% saturated fat. It is therefore possible to consume, provided not to abuse and choose them carefully. Dairy products and fatty meats are preferable to pastries and palm oil.
Saturated fats in action
The body needs fats to function. These are the fats that turn into energy during digestion. Fats also have a role in protecting organs and regulating body temperature. The transport of vitamins is also possible thanks to the fats. They could, in addition, reduce the risk of cancer and strengthen the immune system.
Saturated fats, but not too much
In excess of 10% saturated fat in a diet, health risks appear, including an increase in cholesterol levels. High cholesterol causes cardiovascular disease and increased high blood pressure.
