Shia LaBeouf regrets his failure and now apologizes publicly.

The Hollywood star made another negative impression on Saturday (July 8) when he was arrested for disturbing the peace and drunkenness.

The actor has now posted a statement on Twitter apologizing for his behavior in the lobby of a Savannah, Georgia hotel. There he insulted the police officers who arrested him several times. On the video of the incident you can hear the 31-year-old shouting: "I have rights! I am American. You are holding me in my hotel, are you arresting me in my hotel because I did something, sir?"

However, the regret about his failure came very soon, which is why he now announced how sorry he was: "I am deeply ashamed of my behavior and will not talk myself out of it. I do not know whether these statements are too common or whether they are not shared often enough, but I am sure that my actions require a very sincere apology to the officials and I am grateful for their reluctance. The extent of my behavior will not ignore me. " He also describes his "disrespect" as "problematic" and "completely harmful" - it was a "new low". LaBeouf also describes that he has "been fighting" his addiction for "far too long" and that he is now "taking active steps to ensure [his] abstinence". The 'Transformers' star hopes for "forgiveness for his mistakes".
