Bananas, it's not diet-regime
Charcuterie is strictly forbidden ...
We are not entitled to pasta or bread in a diet
Some fruits burn fat
It is best not to drink during meals
White meat is better than the red ones
There is nothing worse than wine to gain weight
To lose weight, it is necessary to deprive
Where did this come from ? Because, for decades, to lose weight to obese people, they were put on a strict diet (barely 600 or 800 kcal / day), in the hospital, depriving them of everything they liked.
But in fact ... To lose weight, it is necessary to eat, otherwise it deeply disrupts its metabolism: 80% of those who restrict themselves take back their lost pounds because, by depriving it, we program the organism in storage mode.
If you have a few extra pounds (up to about 8), you can eat what you like, but in less quantity and, especially, less often. The treats, yes, but not every day.
Otherwise, you will taste your nun at the cafe with less happiness.
Bananas, it's not diet-regime
Where did this come from ? Because the banana is satiating, so inevitably suspicious when one believes hard like iron that, to slim down, it is necessary to starve.
But in fact ... A banana is 88 kcal (3 times less than a chocolate bar).
A lot of potassium (interesting for liquid exchanges between cells) and vitamins. So, yes to the banana of 16 h!
To choose not too mature (the more they mature, the more they contain sugars).
Charcuterie is strictly forbidden ...
Where did this come from ? Quite obviously: the charcuterie is often pork, known as fat.
A little meat and a lot of fat, hence its melting in the mouth ...
But in fact ... All charcuteries are not to put in the same dish : in 30 years, they became much less fat and lost a quarter of their fat (a ham in 1970, it was 20% fat, today, the découenné is at 3%).
Conclusion: ham, Grisons meat and other dried meats are very low fat (less than 5 g in 100 g of product). On the contrary, salamis and liver mosses flirt with 50% fat. Those, we only eat them occasionally.
We are not entitled to pasta or bread in a diet
Where did this come from ? Because pasta or bread, made of wheat, provides carbohydrates (sugars) and calories . For decades, nutritionists have eliminated them from diet to lose weight.
But in fact ... Do not go without breakfast sandwiches or a dish of spaghetti bolognese lunch.
Moreover, there are even "pasta diets". What counts: the quantity (we swallow 1/5 of baguette and not the entirety) and, for pasta, besides the quantity (200 g approximately), it is cooking that changes everything. Better to cook al dente: it helps to slow blood sugar and storage phenomena.
By eating (a little) pasta and bread, you eat less between meals, and that's all good.
Some fruits burn fat
Where did this come from ? From an old, high-profile study that showed that the stem in the center of the pineapple is rich in bromelain . This enzyme would have the ability to split proteins, in short, to pre-digest our food ...
But in fact ... We rarely eat the central part of the pineapple, too hard.
Its flesh remains nevertheless very interesting and perfectly compatible with a diet slimming, simply because it contains barely 47 kcal / 100 g.
It is best not to drink during meals
Where did this come from ? It has long been thought that by drinking at the table the "digestive juices" are diluted too much, so that food is less digested.
But in fact ... The amount of liquid does not interfere with these juices and the enzymes that split the nutrients to facilitate their assimilation.
In contrast, US researcher Brenda Davy, of the University of Virginia (Virginia Tech of Blacksburg), showed that drinking half a liter of water before the meal allowed to lose more pounds (7 kilos in 3 months against 5 in those who did not drink their 50 cl of water). Simply because the water is mechanically satiating ...
White meat is better than the red ones
Where did this come from ? Decades of restrictive and protein diets, where the only controlled "slippage" possible was the white meat (chicken and turkey), thus discrediting the rest of the butcher's department.
But in fact ... It does not matter the color of the meat: everything depends on the piece chosen.
The meat of the shoulder is always fatter than a cutlet. Thus, a pork tenderloin, reputed to be fat, is less than a steak or a minced steak with 15% fat content . A leg of lamb less fat than a bib.
In poultry, station at the thighs, always fatter than white or a ground beef at 5% fat.
There is nothing worse than wine to gain weight
Where did this come from ? Because, wine is alcohol, and alcohol is calories (1 glass of 10 cl = 10 g of alcohol = 70 kcal).
But in fact ... If we remain reasonable (1 glass per day), wine (red) has protective effects for the heart, thanks to its polyphenols and especially resveratrol . The latter would inhibit the synthesis of new fat molecules and promote the degradation of existing fat stores.
These two combined effects favor the reduction of the fat mass: one loses weight.
And even in serious diets, Weight Watchers type, you have the right to drink from time to time.
