Chock. This is certainly the purpose of the video posted on his Facebook account by Amanda Eller, a nurse from North Carolina, United States. Shared more than 550,000 times, it has become viral since it went online on April 23, 2018.

"Do you still want to smoke?"

In these images, we see the black lungs and as necrotic of a cancerous person, suffering from COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), and who for twenty years smoked a pack a day. At his side are the healthy, well-red lungs of a non-smoking person. After a few seconds, when a pump is used to show the swelling of the organs, again, the difference between the two is blatant. The sick lung struggles to fill with air, while the healthy lung is at its maximum capacity, much more "elastic" and "breathes" with a more natural movement than its neighbor.

The opportunity to remember that active smoking is considered responsible for more than 73,000 premature deaths in France.

"Do you still want to smoke?" Questions Amanda Eller in the caption of the video. It's up to you to answer.
