England will be sweating on the fitness of Billy Vunipola after he limped off during Saracens' comprehensive victory over Sale.
The 24-year-old picked up an injury in the first half and failed to make the break, but it did not seem to matter as Sarries took a 17-3 lead into the second period.
Ben Spencer and Liam Williams touched down for the hosts at Allianz Park, with Faf de Klerk's penalty all that Sale had to show for their efforts.
Spencer went over once again in the second half, with Vincent Koch also on the scoresheet to ensure the home side picked up a bonus point.
Sale rallied towards the end of the match as Byron McGuigan crossed twice in the final quarter but they ended up pointless.
Vunipola's injury took the gloss off the triumph, however, and will be a concern for both his club and the Red Rose, with the autumn internationals now on the horizon.
The number eight was named in Eddie Jones' training squad for next week's camp in Oxford but will now need to wait for the results of a scan.
