Will.i.am thinks cell phones will soon become redundant.
The Black Eyed Peas artist is convinced that modern technology is evolving so quickly that in the foreseeable future mankind will no longer need cell phones. "The boarding school will be totally different in 20 years," he says. "You will no longer need a cell phone. Everything will be networked. The whole idea of having a cell phone to do its calculations - that will be done." However, he admits: "People won't throw away their phones anytime soon."
With his company 'i.am ', the music mogul has developed two wrist devices that are intended to serve as a kind of cell phone replacement. However, the reviews for it were devastating - the technology was even described as the worst product of the year. However, the star told The Guardian that the company was not stopped by it: "We had 70 employees at the time. Now it is 2017 and we have almost 300 employees. So obviously these reviews did not harm the growth of the company. " He explains the negative reviews so that "people want to see the bad in everything". Will.i.am himself will continue to think positively and follow his dreams.
