After the penultimate episode aired last night we take a look at why GOT is just what couples need in their relationship.
You finally agree on a show you both like- None of this Netflix/Now TV scrolling crap, you both know where to find it and you head straight for it- without the usual messing around.
Jon Snow- He's eye candy for you and your fella thinks he's a cool dude, he's a character both men and women adore.
Mondays no longer suck- When GOT isn't on- Mondays are like hell on a stick- but when it's airing, you both have a little ray of light at the end of a long and agonising first day back. (Aside from seeing each other- of course).
Naked women- Your man likes to look at them and you can guarantee Dany or Melisandre will give you gym-spiration for Tuesday.
You can put bets on who's going to die- It's cruel- but inevitable- plus they're fictional characters so it's not that bad. And whoever wins gets a prize- whatever that prize is totally up to you. Wink-wink.
As the credits roll you can guarantee you're going to have sex- All the nakedness puts you both in the mood for bumping uglies.
Whatever troubles you have as a couple no longer seem relevant- OK, so your lover didn't empty the dishwasher but that's pretty insignificant when you consider what it'd be like to date Ramsay Bolton.
You don't feel so bad about having faults- You're not the perfect couple but hey, you're always going to be better than Sansa and whomever she ends up with.
You can escape together to another world for an hour- And totally forget you have another four days left in the place that pays the bills.
It inspires conversation- What's going to happen next week? Neither of you know for sure, but you both have a theory and discuss it in detail (post sex- sometimes during if it's been a really juicy episode).
