Disney’s upcoming DuckTales reboot is shaping up to be one of the most exciting new releases of next year, and now the opening title sequence for the series has been revealed, which acts to debut the show’s brand new theme tune. Check it out below:
Written by Mark C. Mueller, the song is here performed by singer/songwriter Felicia Barton, with production from Emmy Award winner, Michael ‘Smidi’ Smith and composer Dominic Lewis.
With a special sneak peak set to debut in the autumn and the series kicking off in early 2018, DuckTales looks ready to entertain audiences all over again with a slew of exciting new storylines.
Scrooge McDuck of course returns to lead the show alongside his mischievous triplet grandnephews; Huey, Dewer and Louie. Temperamental nephew Donald Duck is also set to make appearances as well as chauffer and pilot, Launchpad McQuack, no-nonsense housekeeper Mrs. Beakley and her granddaughter, Webby Vanderquack.
David Tennant voices Scrooge, with Danny Pudi as Huey, Ben Schwartz as Dewey and Bobby Moynihan as Louie. Kate Micucci, Beck Bennett, Toks Olagundoye and Tony Anselmo also lend their vocal talents to the cast.
