EA Sports has released the first 20 names of the 'FIFA 18' player rankings.

England midfielder Dele Alli is among the top 100 players in the game, moving up to number 93 in the list with a rating of 84, an improvement on his 80 rating in last year's game after he hit 22 goals last season.

Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan suffered an injury-ravaged campaign last time out but is above Alli with an 85 rating, and his team team-mate Bernardo Silva is the 100th best-rated player in the game with a score of 84.

A number of players have the same rating, including Liverpool hotshot Sadio Mane, and Real Madrid boy wonder Marco Asensio.

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has an 85 rating, as does fellow goalkeeper Bernd Leno, while centre-backs Raphael Varane and Vincent Kompany have also been rated as 85 shots.

One player who has returned to the top 100 for this season is AS Monaco's Radamel Falcao with a score of 84 - but it's a far cry from his days on 'FIFA 13' when he boasted a huge 94 rating.

The new installment of the annual football franchise will be released on September 29, and EA recently revealed some changes to Career Mode.

One of the biggest amendments will see transfer negotiations take place in real time with an interactive cut screen, rather than players having to wait for a response.
