When cosmetics become more and more concerned about the animal cause, the initiatives of the brands multiply. While The Body Shop hopes to collect 8 million signatures in order to permanently debunk animal testing for cosmetic purposes worldwide , Nuxe is working alongside the Louvre to protect bees.
Nuxe X The Louvre
The Louvre is an emblematic museum of the French capital, an architectural jewel steeped in history, home to dozens of master paintings. It is also a 23-hectare park in the heart of the city. Direct consequence? It is a space appreciated by animals, among which bees. Threatened by the intensive use of pesticides, in addition to producing the beneficial propolis , these insects are observed because their evolution makes it possible to measure the dangers likely to affect the environmental balance and the human health . Hence the importance of protecting them. Aware of this challenge, the Paris museum, funded by Nuxe, installs in the Garden Raffet (near the Pont des Arts), flowery meadow in a 1250m 2 where the bees can work through the presence of many flowers and 6 hives. .. under the close supervision of a dedicated beekeeper! What inspire us and make us want to install a hive in our garden !
A mark close to animals
For years, Nuxe has been committed to environmental protection. It is even one of the foundations of its ethical charter. Already committed to the protection of bees through the sponsorship of sheltered hives for pesticides in the heart of the Vosges, the brand reflects its concerns even in its products. With more than 90% biodegradable formulas, the use of vegetable and paper inks from sustainably managed forests, and eco-designed pots, Nuxe wants to reduce its impact on the environment.
