Music choices can affect the way we taste, according to new research.
Ahead of this year's The Big Feastival, former Blur frontman and festival founder Alex James met with cognitive neuroscientist Dr Opehlia Deroy to see whether music does affect our tastes.
The two tried four dishes from the street food vendors at this year's festival while listening to a variety of music.
Their research found that high-pitched music can bring out fruity and citrus notes in a dish, while dark flavours are intensified with the addition of deep and heavy bass in a song.
