Tottenham are reportedly plotting a £19million bid to bring AC Milan attacking midfielder Suso back to the Premier League.

The 23-year-old joined Milan in 2015 on a five-year contract when his previous deal had expired with Liverpool, where he struggled for gametime.

Suso came through Liverpool’s academy but made just 14 senior appearances and was left feeling frustrated by a lack of progression.

The midfielder also failed to make a big impression when he moved to the San Siro and he was loaned out to Genoa in 2015, scoring six times in 19 outings.

Milan handed the youngster a much more focal role last term and his performances have now led to interest from Spurs.

Reports claim they are seriously keen and ready to lodge an initial £19million offer to take him to north London this summer.
