Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel has extended his lead at the top of the Drivers' Championship standings after winning the Hungarian GP.
The German started Sunday's race on pole, but he was hampered for much of the afternoon by a steering issue.
The 30-year-old was indebted to team-mate Kimi Raikkonen, who did not challenge for the lead and instead settled for second-place to cap a good day for the Scuderia.
Vettel has now extended his lead at the top of the standings to 14 points heading into the summer break and he admits he was delighted to hold on for his fourth race victory of the season.
"I'm over the moon. It was a really difficult race. I had my hands full from three or four laps after the safety car," Vettel said. "There was something wrong, I don't know why but the steering started to go sideways."
Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton, Vettel's nearest challenger in the Drivers' championship race, had looked set to claim the final podium place, but he sportingly allowed team-mate Valtteri Bottas to pass him in the closing stages.
Red Bull's Max Verstappen claimed fifth, but he was involved in the race's most controversial moment, as he crashed into team-mate Daniel Ricciardo at the second corner, forcing the Australian to retire.
The Dutchman was handed a ten-second penalty for the indiscretion by the Budapest stewards, costing him the chance to challenge for race glory.
