Shaun Wane faces a selection dilemma ahead of this weekend's Challenge Cup final showdown with Hull FC.

Loose forward Joe Tomkins is expected to be available for the Wembley showpiece after recovering from a groin strain, but his place in the starting XIII is far from guaranteed after the Warriors produced an impressive performance during their 42-6 victory over Salford Red Devils in the Betfred Super League on Friday.

Wane confirmed he has some tough decision to make ahead of Saturday's match, but he insists he will have no problems breaking the bad news to the players who don't make the cut.

“My team on Saturday will be who I think will win," he said. "It’s normally easy for me to break it to them. If it’s about performance I can be straight – players have had it coming."

One man whose position in the team appears to be assured is centre Willie Isa, who was omitted from the starting line-up for the Warriors' 22-6 victory over Cronulla in the World Club Challenge in February.

Wane confirmed that leaving Isa out for that match had been one of his toughest calls, but after his impressive display against Salford, the Samoan appears to be in no danger of missing out once again.

"Leaving him out for the World Club was one of the toughest conversations I’ve had to have with a player," admitted Wane.

"Willie was outstanding last week, and he played well against Salford – I’m happy with him."
