What are we giving to the big Carrefour collection?

In partnership with the Restos du Cœur, Carrefour is organizing, for the 5th consecutive year , a large national collection of school supplies on Saturday 3 September in its hypermarkets. Les Restos du Cœur, with Carrefour volunteers, will provide customers with a list of products they need, such as:

- large and small notebooks ,

- sheets and duplicate copies for binders ,

- rigid and flexible filing cabinets ,

- plastic rolls to cover books,

- ballpoint pens ,

- paper pencils ,

- kits ,

- gum ,

- glue ...

During the 2015 collection , 50 tons of supplies were distributed for the association (pretty!).

The "Great Recycling" operation at Carrefour

Carrefour continues its operation "Grand Recyclage" until 5 September . Customers will be invited to bring back their old notebooks , papers and catalogs . All this waste will allow the Restos to help families in difficulty, redistributing the school materials. The goal is to collect 100 tons of paper, representing 16,000 notebooks or 6,000 reams of recycled paper.

Carrefour & Les Restos du Cœur: a partnership that lasts

Recall that Les Restos du Cœur is 130 million meals served each year, and throughout France. But the association created by Coluche , however, still needs donations. Since 2009, Carrefour is a partner of the association. They participate together in the major annual food collections in March and collect donations of food each year.
